Just looking at the picture makes me cringe. Kinect may be selling but it's is utterly pathetic. Seriously one the most useless peripherals ever (at least for real gamers).

Your point? At least on PS3 non-shooting games have a chance. Take for example unique games like HR and even Catherine. They sell great on PS3 but fail hard on the 360.
Fact is, the 360 demographic is pre-teens/teens who think they're cool just cause they play M rated games (they're not). Heck, the 360 is even targeted a little kids. that's how sad the console has gotten.
Well it's quite obvious. Original, unique games like this sell much better on PS3. The 360 crowd simply isn't receptive to such unique games. unless there's a big space marine with/ soldier with a big gun on the cover, the 360 crowd runs away.
I'm not saying all, but most as the 360 is mainly aimed at pre-teens/teens who think playing M rated games and screaming at the mic online makes them look cool (it doesn't). Hell, the 360 is now aimed at little kids...
You know, the PS3 imo, is the greatest success this gen. It released at price so much higher than the 360 and even more than the Wii and yet it's managed to beat the 360 EVERY year since release in WW sales (as confirmed by Sony/MS numbers).
The 360 on the other hand had ONE year (1 1/2 in Europe), MASSIVE failure rates, and a $200 cheaper price point and it has STILL lagged behind everywhere except NA. Heck, the 360 was CHEAPER than the Wii and it still couldn't outs...
Yea, games like MGS4 and the UC series should be considered art. Also, games like Flower and the upcoming Journey. Or Ico/SOTC last gen and the HD remakes this gen.
Games like Gears, and COD are more like summer blockbusters. They get the money but they really are just made to appeal to the masses and cash in.
Yea but then it'll get stale. Take for example COD or Halo, after so much milking, I've really gotten tired of those games.
Once UC3 comes out I think ND will move on to PS4 games and give the UC series a rest. As much as I love it, I'd rather see it end on a high point then get dragged out.
Exactly. Until I see UC2 level games on 360 (and that's a 2009 PS3 games), the 360 will still be inferior. If the 360 is as good as the PS3, then how come we haven't seen a KZ2 level game on 360 even though it's ONE YEAR older?
I'll definitely be camping out to get my hands on it ASAP. Sony will deliver yet another amazing piece hardware with an abundance of AAA exclusives. I'm hyped about next gen!

Currently replaying PSone classic MGS and then moving on to MGS 2, 3 and Peace Walker once the collection comes out... finally I'll finish off with one of the greatest games ever made: MGS4

I applaud the 360 for pushing online gaming on consoles forward. Other than that there's really not much to talk about. Good job on MS' part getting it to succeed as well as it did, even it's primarily only in NA.
I guess as long as it keeps it's pre-teen/teen demographic happy with shooter after shooter all will continue to be well.
